Program Details

With the ELL concentration in this Doctor of Education program, educators will undertake research and complete advanced coursework related to issues in English Language Learning. Graduates will be poised to become high-level professionals and leaders in the field.

Core coursework begins with foundational studies of research methods, statistics, and data analysis. Students will also undertake studies of recent advances in ELL teaching practices, assessment, and curriculum. The last course in the sequence will take a look at significant issues in ELL education to inspire potential topics for your dissertation.
