AmeriTech College is private, for-profit, two-year institution of higher education located in Draper, Utah. Originally founded in 1979 in Provo, Utah, the school was first known as The American Institute of Medical and Dental Technology. For over thirty years, the college educated individuals within the healthcare field in areas such as medical assistant, dental assistant, healthcare office specialist and many others. In the late 2000s, AmeriTech expanded from its campus in Provo to Draper, Utah. The new campus in Draper created opportunities for students interested in the nursing field. In 2010, AmeriTech once again expanded to include entirely online programs allowing students from around the country to utilize all that AmeriTech has to offer.
