AmeriTech College is private, for-profit, two-year institution of higher education located in Draper, Utah. Originally founded in 1979 in Provo, Utah, the school was first known as The American Institute of Medical and Dental Technology. For over thirty years, the college educated individuals within the healthcare field in areas such as medical assistant, dental assistant, healthcare office specialist and many others. In the late 2000s, AmeriTech expanded from its campus in Provo to Draper, Utah. The new campus in Draper created opportunities for students interested in the nursing field. In 2010, AmeriTech once again expanded to include entirely online programs allowing students from around the country to utilize all that AmeriTech has to offer. AmeriTech College is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.

Students interested in applying to AmeriTech College to further their career goals must meet several criteria. While the admissions process is designed to be as streamlined as possible, it is essential that potential students complete every aspect of the application process to the best of their ability. All applicants must meet with an Admissions Consultant before enrolling in classes to determine career goals, objectives and motivations. Additionally, all students must complete and obtain a satisfactory score of the Wonderlic SLE exam proctored at AmeriTech College. All programs’ acceptance is determined on a first come, first serve basis with the exception of the nursing program.

Tuition at AmeriTech College as a full time student is around $22,700 annually. While paying for tuition can seem like a daunting task, students should utilize the financial aid resources available to them. AmeriTech students can apply for financial aid opportunities such as Federal Financial Aid, scholarships, private loans, parent loans and grants. Students applying for Federal Financial Aid should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid as soon as possible after the beginning of the calendar year.

AmeriTech College offers programs ranging from dental assistant to nursing to personal fitness trainer. All programs at AmeriTech College are designed to prepare students for jobs within the healthcare professions. The average credit requirement for all programs is around 48 credit hours; however, due to the specialized nature of many of the programs actual credit hours can vary. Students typically complete their programs within two years as a full time student.
