Can anyone recommend an MBA program for a student from Ohio with no GMAT qualifications and accredited? I was also wondering if schools charge out of state tuition for online classes. I have considered Indiana Wesleyan's program but that is about $22k. I would feel more comfortable with something around the $15-$20k mark. Thanks, Ricky

Hi Ricky,

Thanks for your question!

Start here in the GetEducated degree search where we profile hundreds of accredited online MBA programs.

Do you have an accreditation preference?

See: Do I need an AACSB accredited online MBA?

Depending on your preference you can review each list of AACSB accredited MBA programs that do not require the GMAT or GRE and regionally accredited MBA programs that do not require the GMAT or GRE.

Between the two, there are 6 schools in Ohio that offer an online MBA without requiring entrance exams.

Are you looking for a program based in Ohio because you'd like to access campus resources or because you'd like to pay in-state tuition? Some schools DO charge out of state tuition but some DO NOT!

Therefore, it's possible to save a LOT of money by looking at other MBA options out of state that charge one flat rate for all online students regardless of the state they reside in.

See:

Best Affordable Regionally Accredited MBA Programs

Your cheapest school for a Regional MBA without the GMAT is Amberton University Graduate School of Business in Texas which comes in at just $8,712 (total cost of degree).

With an AACSB MBA it becomes a bit trickier. Many programs will waive the requirement if you meet certain career or GPA specifications. See the list to check if you are eligible and cross check with the AACSB Best Buy rankings to find the least expensive.

Within Ohio your most affordable option is Ohio Christian University Master of Business Administration (regionally accredited) for $15,660.

I hope this helps!

Best,

Kayleigh

Hi Ricky,

I would like to suggest you the California Baptist University Online, a popular university in California that offers multiple online degree programs, now also offers online Master of Business Administration (MBA). The university focuses on keeping up with the needs of the modern students to allow them to study as well as take care of their family and professional responsibilities to provide them with a 21st-century learning experience.

Thanks,

Sandra
