Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Studies prepares students for positions in the mental health field or to continue their studies towards a bachelor’s in Psychology online. Graduates of this program from York County Community College will also receive Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician Certification (MHRT/C).

Students will learn how to work with a variety of issues including mental illness, developmental delays, substance abuse, and other behavioral health conditions. The curriculum covers topics including counseling theories, cultural awareness, human development, vocational rehabilitation, and more.
