If you are interested in a career in the hospitality and tourism industry, the Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from York County Community College is an online hospitality management degree that may be for you!  This is an internship based program, so students begin with summer employment at host hotels and then complete the program with classes in the fall and spring.  

The curriculum provides students with knowledge in hotel front office management, food and beverage control, event management, and hospitality industry marketing.  You will learn how to apply cost control methods and use basic accounting concepts, use information technology to analyze and communicate industry information, and effectively use oral and written communication.  Courses ensure students are able to demonstrate ethical behavior in the hospitality/tourism industry and to value diverse opinions, values, abilities, and cultures.  Graduates are prepared for management level careers in hospitality or can use this degree to transfer to a four-year degree.
