As part of the School of Education, Winona State offers this online Graduate Certificate in Addiction Counseling.  With the flexibility of distance learning, practicing counselors and other educators can further their career with this in-demand contemporary specialization without career interruption.  The curriculum takes about one year to complete and does involve an internship.  Classes are taught by the same, experienced faculty that teach on-campus and include electives such as:
