Program Details

The online Master of Science in Criminal Justice program is designed for students with or without previous criminal justice course work, preparing them for careers in the criminal justice field, especially in the areas of law enforcement, the courts, and corrections.  The flexible curriculum offers both a thesis and a non-thesis option, allowing students to choose whether they prefer to take exams in place of presenting a thesis in their final semester.  With either option, you will learn about the administration of justice, ethics, homeland security, leadership, research, human resource management in criminal justice, and more.

Requirements

Students pursuing the thesis option must appear in person to defend their thesis during their last semester.

  • Official college/university transcripts
  • GRE scores
  • Overall GPA of 2.5 with a minimum of 3.0 in undergraduate criminal justice coursework
  • Two letters of reference
