Requirements

  • At least three years of full-time teaching or certified professional experience
  • Two letters of recommendation from the applicant's school district of employment, dated within the last 18 months, and submitted by individuals familiar with the applicant's professional abilities and potential to perform as a principal. One letter must be from a supervisor in the place of employment
  • Official sealed transcripts in original envelopes
  • Copy of teaching certificate
  • Educational philosophy essay (1 page)
  • Essay "How Principals Shape Learning in Their Schools" (1 page)
