Program Details

The online Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice program is designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year institution to complete their educations with bachelor’s degrees, providing them with the first two years of learning in this field.  Students are also prepared to work in the field of policing and corrections if they decide not to transfer after completing this program.  You will gain a well-rounded education that includes how the criminal justice system functions, why crime occurs, policing, criminal law, juveniles, investigations, and victimology.  For those interested, the curriculum can be designed around particular interests in the field, including the areas of corrections, law, victim assistance, emergency management, or law enforcement.
