Western Kentucky University offers a Master of Arts in Education with a special emphasis on Biology for Teacher Leaders. The curriculum of this program teaches on classroom instruction, the learning environment, and other fundamentals of student success, while also emphasizing a biology background.
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent
- WKU alumni of the teacher preparation programs must have a current, valid teaching certificate or Statement of Eligibility
- Other graduates must have a 2.75 GPA for all previous undergraduate coursework and a 3.0 GPA for previous graduate coursework or qualifying GRE scores
- Must hold or be eligible to hold a teaching certificate
