The online Certificate in Aging Specialist program provides students with knowledge of aging and may supplement majors in various departments, including interdisciplinary studies, health sciences, leadership, social work, communication disorders, health care administration, psychology, sociology, hospitality management, dietetics, and public health. Students learn information to help with their careers and in their personal lives as they and family members age. Job opportunities are available in many settings including health and wellness companies, senior housing, advocacy and policy organizations, financial services, biotechnology, and social service agencies.
