Program Details

The online Associate-Occupational in Clinical Medical Assistant degree program from West Virginia Junior College-Morgantown is designed to prepare students for a wide variety of entry-level, medical-related positions, both clinical and office/administrative. The curriculum emphasizes clinical skills needed to work in doctors' offices, hospitals, clinics, urgent care centers, nursing homes, and other heath care facilities, while also stressing office/administrative skills required for positions such as medical secretary, medical receptionist, and other related positions. 

Occupational degrees are terminal, and coursework may not be eligible for transfer into a four-year college or university.
