Program Details
West Texas A & M University offers the Master of Business Administration degree. Students who choose the distance learning format may enjoy a flexible learning schedule and the luxury of completing coursework whenever it is convenient for them.
This program requires students to complete foundation, core, and emphasis area coursework. Core courses explore topics such as accounting, information technology management, finance, microeconomics, macroeconomics, marketing, management, as well as others. Students may then choose an area of emphasis such as General Business, Computer Information Systems, Management, Marketing, or Health Care Management. Students should gain skills in communication, leadership, decision making, ethics, leadership, and much more.
Graduates of this program may be eligible to be employed as marketing managers, management analysts, HR specialists, financial advisors, financial managers, IT managers, accountants, CEOs, CIOs, or within a wide variety of other positions. Earning an MBA opens students up to a larger variety of career possibilities and the opportunity to increase their salary.
Requirements
Undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or higher. While all applicants are welcome to take the GMAT exam, those with an UG GPA of 3.0 or higher may request to have this requirement waived. Official transcripts.
