West Los Angeles College, also known as West, or WLAC, is located on an urban campus in Los Angeles County, adjacent to Culver City, California. The school is a member of the California Community Colleges System, within the Los Angeles Community College District. WLAC is a public junior college that was established in 1969, and offers innovative programs that lead to the success of its students.
Traditional transfer and associate degrees and certificates and special programs are offered at WLAC. Students participating in WLAC’s transfer programs are able to save money by completing the first two years of their bachelor’s degree for a significantly lower amount than it would cost at a university.
