Program Details

The online Associate of Science in Administration of Justice program is a transfer program that prepares students for careers in the criminal justice field, especially in the areas of law enforcement, corrections, and the courts, and also prepares students to transfer to a four-year institution to continue their educations in bachelor’s programs.  The curriculum teaches students about the theories and history of the criminal justice system, including the roles and functions of local, state, and federal jurisdictions.  You will also learn about the roles, functions, and interrelationships among criminal justice agencies and study areas including causation, correctional theory, analysis, and the social impact of crime.
