Program Details

Students interested in pursuing zoo science careers have a deep passion for helping animals, in addition to helping individuals understand and learn more about different species. Students in the online Zoo Science master’s degree program will gain applied hands-on experience in addition to advanced level coursework on zoo animal behavior. This program collaborates with a non-profit organization called Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) to provide a foundation in core biology and zoo science areas. 

Courses include, but are not limited to: 

  • Zoo Conservation
  • Quantitative Biological Techniques
  • Graduate Zoo Mammalogy

The curriculum is offered in a Master of Science or Master of Arts format. The Master of Science requires a thesis, while the Master of Arts does not. Classes are taught by dedicated and experienced faculty who value each student. Graduates are prepared to succeed in the field of zoo science by obtaining the online Master of Science degree.
