Master of Divinity

Program Details

The online Master of Divinity degree program from Wesley Biblical Seminary provides a broad-based and integrated study of scripture and theology, spiritual formation, cultural context, and Christian ministry. The curriculum enables students to meet the educational requirements for ordination to the Christian ministry, and students may choose from the following concentration areas based upon their personal interests and professional goals:

  • General Ministry
  • Biblical Languages
  • Teaching
  • Honors Research

Requirements

This degree program requires 75-85 credits for completion.
Students must complete the equivalent of nine on-campus courses. This may be achieved by taking three online synchronous courses, visiting campus three times for a weekend retreat, and one on-campus week-long intensive class.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Demonstration of spiritual and moral integrity essential for Christian leaders with satisfactory references attesting to such
