Webster University

Program Details

The online Master of Science in Criminal Justice program introduces the wider criminal justice program, emphasizing technical skills, critical thinking skills, decision-making processes, and analytic capabilities.  The curriculum teaches students to explain, predict, and prevent crime and victimization as they learn to apply theories of crime, the processes of criminalization, and practices and reforms within the criminal justice system.  Graduates are able to work ethically, explain the interdependence of institutions in the criminal justice system and other environments, and articulate the ways issues of diversity affect the operation of criminal justice organizations and actors.
