The online Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology degree is available from Washington State University for individuals interested in studying human life and diversity in all places and from all times.  Students will study fundamental questions about human origins and human nature.  You will also learn about the interactions between our biological and our learned cultural heritages, both past and present.  Courses in this anthropology degree provide a core base of knowledge covering fundamental concepts and practices.  The curriculum teaches skills in critical thinking, research, cultural sensitivity, and effective communication as you prepare for a variety of careers that involve interacting with diverse groups of people. 

With this degree in anthropology there is an emphasis on cultural anthropology, but courses are available in all four major subfields of anthropology:
