School Details

Serving the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Wartburg Theological Seminary (WTS) offers a worship-centered environment for critical theological reflection. Students at the seminary learn to serve the church’s mission as leaders embodying the mission of God and living Jesus Christ’s gospel.

The four-year private, not-for-profit school has a long history of producing ordained and lay leaders for the church. Students appreciate that WTS is:

  • Worship-centered
  • Communal
  • Missional
  • Global commitment

In an effort to reach more people, WTS provides online graduate degree programs. Furthermore, those interested in theological education can take online courses without a degree focus. Graduates seek to serve a world in need of social and personal healing.
