A specialization in Health Psychology is available with Walden University’s PhD in Psychology program. Courses focus on biopsychology, psychoneuroimmunology, and how to change health behaviors.
Students will study the effects of psychological, behavioral, and social factors on physical health and wellness. The curriculum includes components of foundational, core, research, and specialization courses, plus a doctoral dissertation and four PhD residencies. Credit for up to five courses can be transferred to this online Psychology degree from a master’s degree in a related field.
