Walden offers students who hold a Doctor in Nursing Practice degree (DNP) a shorter path to the PhD in Nursing. Recognizing your previous academic progress, we will apply up to 25 credits toward your doctoral program, significantly reducing the time to completion and your total costs. This accelerated DNP to PhD in Nursing option builds on your current knowledge and experience with scholarly research and relevant coursework that will further academically prepare you for leadership positions in nursing administration, policy, or academia.
