The Self-Designed specialization of Walden University’s PhD in Developmental Psychology offers students flexibility to choose courses that most closely align with their personal interests and professional goals. Along with foundation, core, and research courses, students will choose additional courses from within any of the PhD program’s specializations. 

The curriculum of this online Psychology degree provides advanced knowledge of human growth and development across the lifespan. Graduates can use the latest theories, research, and best practices to create lasting change for individuals, families, and communities. Two tracks are available to students: Track I is designed for students holding a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology or Psychology; Track II is offered to students with a master’s degree in another field.
