Walden University offers a Master of Science in Human & Social Services degree. There is a growing need for professionals skilled in the areas of negotiation and dispute resolution. The Conflict Management & Negotiation specialization focuses on providing the core competencies to meet that need for those who interact within organizations, communities, and governments. You will explore current theory and best practices and gain the essential skills to help negotiate and resolve disputes within communities.

Some coursework in this specialization provides the basic introductory education in dispute resolution. Additional training and practicum is required to qualify for licensure or certification as a mediator in most states.
