Walden University offers the Master of Business Administration / Entrepreneurship & Small Business for students and professionals who want to develop their professional acumen and understanding of business strategies in regard to entrepreneurial activity. Entrepreneurial activity includes start-up businesses, innovation, and other fields involving ground level knowledge of business principles required for developing new businesses or new industries.
Students will gain hands-on experience in developing new businesses or developing new business activities within an organization, by drawing from theory and understanding of business practices, while they learn to manage and control risks and rewards associated with new ventures. As part of the program, students will develop the critical-thinking capacities and decision-making skills necessary for planning, initializing, and completing new business ventures or expanding current business activities.
