Master of Business Administration / Corporate Finance

Program Details

Walden University offers the Master of Business Administration / Corporate Finance for students and professionals who want to develop their understanding of the field of finance and how finance applies to corporate activities, including developing strategies for financing operations, mergers and acquisitions, or developing new operations.

Students will study accepted practices in financial markets, thrift institutions, and commercial and investment banking while studying the fundamentals of corporate financial modeling.  In addition, students will learn about managerial activities in finance and will study forecasting, risk analysis, assessment methodology, budgeting, financial planning, and other critical managerial tasks and how they apply to corporate finance. The program will prepare students as financiers with backgrounds in management, or to provide managers with specialization in financial management to improve their managerial effectiveness.
