Walden University offers the Master of Business Administration degree with a Specialization in Communication.

Through completion of the program, students will have demonstrated the professionalism and skill necessary to earn the degree. The qualifications demonstrate that the student has been able to apply the principles they have learned in the program into their eventual development as functional effective professional in their field. These qualifications include having an extensive and practical knowledge-base of theory, tools, skills, practices, and research related to business and be able to apply these to the problems and opportunities that are encountered in the 21st-century business environment.

    School Overview

    Bernie and Rita Turner founded Walden University in 1970 in order to provide an educational opportunity for working adults. The University immediately began to grow and by 1972, Walden conferred seventy degrees, including forty-six Doctorate degrees. Walden is a private for-profit university, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With a continued focus on the working professional, Walden’s mission integrates “quality programs,” designed and taught by highly qualified professionals, through “relevant, actionable” methods to establish “lifelong learning.” In addition, faculty are selected based on “academic and industry credentials."
