Master of Business Administration / Accounting
Walden University offers the Master of Business Administration / Accounting for Managers for students and professionals who want to develop their business acumen and education of advanced business concepts as it applies to management and accounting. Managers are typically tasked with resolving budgeting issues and controlling operational costs, especially from employee activities.
Students will explore accounting and financial techniques that managers can utilize to enhance their critical-thinking and decision making capacities, as well as developing strategies for boosting organizational performance. Students will also study forecasting, cost analysis, assessment methods, budgeting and financial planning procedures and how to apply them towards organizational management. The program will prepare students to either function as accountants with managerial backgrounds, or provide managers with accounting backgrounds to help improve their managerial effectiveness.
