The Community College Leadership (Non-Licensure) specialization prepares you to become a scholar-practitioner who can effectively lead successful 21st-century community colleges. This specialization is ideal if you are an educator looking to further your career in the community college landscape or if you are employed in businesses and policy development related to higher education. Coursework focuses on developing proficiency in many aspects of the community college mission, including academic transfer programs, workforce development, developmental and remedial education, continuing education for professionals, student development, and community service.
