Program Details

The BS in Computer Information Systems online degree from Walden University combines academic theory with practical experience. Students will examine group analysis and project design, effective communication, and specialized IT tools.

Core classes include topics such as IT infrastructure, database management systems, internet computing, and systems analysis and design. Students will gain skills related to organizing and managing information systems projects and analyzing the life cycle of products and programs. Walden has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defence Education by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
