Program Details
Vincennes University’s Certificate of Behavioral Sciences/Community Rehabilitation is designed to prepare students to work in rehabilitation programs and human services settings. Those seeking a career in the helping professions or individuals already working in the field who would like to upgrade their skills are encouraged to apply.
Graduates will be able to assess needs and implement appropriate care and training to clients with a variety of special needs. Courses focus on ways to help the elderly and those with mental illness, learning and developmental disabilities, emotional problems, terminal illness, and more. Students will learn the importance of professional conduct and ethics in the field of behavioral sciences.
