Victor Valley College is a community college located on a 253-acre campus in Victorville, California. VVC was created as the result of a public vote and held its first classes in 1961 at Victor Valley High School. Students began attending classes at the current campus in 1965. The Victor Valley Community College district consists of the towns of Victorville, Apple Valley, Hespera, Adelanto and Phelan. VVC’s mission includes cultivating intellectual growth, environmental stewardship, social responsibility, economic development and cultural enrichment, creating accessible and exceptional opportunities for lifelong learning that equip students with the knowledge and skills that are necessary for success in the global economy, inspiring innovative teaching and service by creating vibrant programs that effectively address student learning , and embracing differences in the community by creating a cohesive, resourceful academic environment. VVC offers associate's degrees and certificates.
