Program Details

The online Master of Science in Environmental Safety and Health program focuses on the needs of businesses and organizations to effectively manage complex environmental safety and health issues in the workplace, especially the interaction between people and the physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial factors which affect safety, health, and productivity.  The program addresses vital issues beyond traditional regulatory compliance, such as risk management, environmental stewardship, and sustainability, as these concerns receive increasing attention from employers, communities, and government.  The curriculum integrates previous and new learning experiences, which enhances the students’ intellect, scientific expertise, and professional integrity.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university or college
  • Prerequisites in science, business, math or engineering
  • The equivalent of at least one year of full-time professional experience in environmental safety and health
  • Computer skills proficiency
