Program Details

Industrial and applied mathematics is utilized in almost every business and industry, including communications, manufacturing, defense, engineering, business, finance, and education. The online PSM in Industrial & Applied Mathematics degree program prepares students to identify and solve challenging problems through statistical analysis, modeling, data analysis, and computation skills. Graduates are prepared to:

  • Apply advanced mathematics, statistics, and computer science skills to today's most immediate problems and questions
  • Analyze data and create mathematical and statistical models for business and industry

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or hold a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or finance/economic with advanced mathematics coursework
  • Have earned an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0
  • Undergraduate transcripts showing the undergraduate degree awarded
  • Graduate transcripts for any graduate work attempted or completed
