Master of Science in Engineering / Engineering Design

Program Details

The online Master of Science in Engineering with an emphasis in Engineering Design is a rigorous technical program which draws on students’ existing knowledge of engineering theory and mathematics as well as practical engineering experience.  The engineering design emphasis deepens the students’ understanding of the fundamental areas of engineering as they gain the skills to increase efficiencies and design optimal solutions in a variety of engineering and industrial settings.  Courses may include:

  • Simulation Modeling of Engineering Systems
  • Optimization with Engineering Applications
  • Design of Experiments
  • Design for Manufacturability
  • Design for Usability

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from a regionally or nationally accredited institution
  • Overall undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or above; or 2.90 on the last 60 credits from the degree-granting institution
