The University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh offers an online Doctor of Nursing Practice program for students interested in pursuing certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.   • On-campus visits are required for orientation and during the final two semesters of the program.
  • Applicants must have a master's degree from an accredited university, including graduate-level nursing theory, research, ethics, and advanced-level pharmacology.
  • Applicants must have a current, unencumbered RN license allowing practice in Wisconsin.
  • Provide evidence of 550 hours of advanced nursing clinical practice in a given specialty and current advanced nursing practice certification.
