Program Details

The online Master of Healthcare Administration program helps students become skilled professionals who understand the basic business principles and tools related to finance, information systems, strategic planning, human resource management, and marketing, allowing them to make effective decisions in their careers.  The curriculum also teaches students the knowledge needed to make a difference when managing medical information and healthcare staff, providing excellent healthcare quality and value.  Students have tangible skills in the following competency domains:

Requirements

  • Degree completion requires from 33-39 credits, depending on track chosen
  • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent
  • A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 (4.0 scale)
  • Official transcripts
  • Letters of recommendation
  • GRE test scores (waived for applicants holding a graduate degree)
  • Proficiency in the English language, use of word processing, spreadsheet and database software
