University of West Georgia offers an online Specialist in Education degree with a major in Early Childhood Education. This program was designed by the faculty to help individuals grow in their knowledge of young children's education. The curriculum includes field experiences and book knowledge of innovative techniques and methods.
- Admission to the program requires a Level 5, clear and renewable professional certificate in Early Childhood Education based on a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Any other master's degree with a Level 5 certification must meet the Content Specialization requirements in the Early Childhood Education Master's degree program in order to be admitted into the Ed.S. program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in graduate coursework
