The Master of Science in Family Counseling is an online counseling degree program from the University of West Alabama.  This degree is designed to help students work more effectively with families and family-related issues in counseling and other social science fields.  Courses focus on systematic approaches to family counseling and emphasize a non-pathology based perspective for understanding family dynamics and developing strategies to bring about the desired change.  You will learn to develop strategies for handling a wide range of relationship, mental health, and life adjustment issues. 

While this online counseling degree does not prepare students for independent professional license as a marriage and family therapist or as a professional counselor, the program is designed for:
