Program Details

The online Master’s in Special Education is designed to equip educators with specialized knowledge and skills to effectively support students with diverse learning needs in grades 6-12. This program prepares educators to positively impact the academic, social, and emotional development of students with disabilities. 

The curriculum covers various topics, including instructional strategies for students with special needs, assessment and individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior management, assistive technology, and inclusive education practices. The program emphasizes evidence-based practices, cultural competence, and the importance of collaboration with families, colleagues, and other professionals in the field.
