Master of Education in High School Education, 6-12

Program Details

The online MEd in High School Education, 6-12 from the University of West Alabama is designed to enhance students' skills and give them a solid foundation in advanced teaching concepts for instructing students in sixth through 12th grade. Students are required to complete 19 credit hours of professional courses, as well as 15 credit hours in one of the following teaching fields:

  • Biology
  • History
  • English Language Arts
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Science


  • Fingerprints/verification of background clearance
  • Valid Bachelor's Level Professional Educator Certificate in the same field(s) in which the Master's Level Certificate is sought
  • Official college and institution transcripts
