The first of its kind in the nation, the University of West Alabama’s online Ed.D in rural education is specifically designed to concentrate on critical issues pertaining to rural education and strategies and solutions for positive development. Working closely with school districts and superintendents in the state of Alabama, the program’s curriculum focuses on addressing the needs of rural students.

The online Doctor of Education in Rural Education is open to anyone with a master’s degree in any discipline and is delivered in an entirely online, flexible format.
