The online Information Technology undergraduate certificate program at the University of Virginia is well-suited for professionals moving into entry- and mid-level positions such as systems and business analysts, web design and application developers, technical sales and marketing professionals, quality assurance experts, and consultants. 

On average, students take one to two courses per term, including the summer, to complete the certificate in 18 months. The five required courses for this program are centered around strategic business, web design, enterprise systems architecture and design, database management, and web application development. Students also have the option to choose from one of four elective courses offered.
