University of Valley Forge
Valley Forge Christian College offers a fully accredited Master's degree in Christian Leadership. This degree is designed to increase student’s effectiveness in working with churches and organizations. The need for this leadership is increasing and this Master’s degree will help expose students to the most current research in Christian leadership.
To be eligible for admittance into the Christian Leadership program, applicants must: have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of a 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, have a minimum of six undergraduate or graduate credits in Bible/Theology (if the applicant has less than six credits they must score a 95 or higher on the Bible Content Exam provided by the VFCC), submit official undergraduate and graduate transcripts, complete the online application, complete the GRE, MAT, or a portfolio in substitution for test scores which contains 25 pages of work, and lastly submit three letters of reference (two from professors and one personal reference).
This program can be completed online and requires that students complete 36 credit hours within the parameters of set semesters. The courses that are required of all students who wish to complete a Master’s in Christian Leadership are the following: Art/Science of Biblical Interpretation, Apologetics and Ethics: Contemporary Challenges, Biblical Leadership Models, Developing Leaders, Creative Leadership, Organizational Leadership and Communication, and more.
Throughout the completion of the previously listed courses there are objectives that students will need to achieve throughout their time in the program. First, students will learn to communicate in writing biblical and theological academic research that addresses concerns within the community of faith. Second, students will analyze empirical, leadership and theological concepts in cross-cultural settings and directly assess and formulate leadership concepts to enrich that particular culture. Third, students will analyze their own leadership style and develop steps in which to more effectively work as a team. Fourth, students will assess various leadership models being used within organizations and the impact those models have on the development of organizations.
Throughout this program students will learn a variety of knowledge dealing with Christian leadership and will be able to take what they have learned and make a difference in the lives of others.

The College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the same accreditation enjoyed by nearly all the major educational institutions throughout the Northeast.

The University of Valley Forge, a private, four-year residential college operated by the Assemblies of God denomination, is located on a suburban campus in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. University of Valley Forge originally began as Marantha Bible School in 1939. Mergers with additional Bible institutes over time resulted in an increase in enrollment, and eventual name changes including Eastern Bible Institute and Northeast Bible Institute. In 1976, what was Valley Forge Christian College moved its location to the former Valley Forge Army Hospital campus in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. In 2014, the college became the University of Valley Forge has a mission of preparing its students for lives of leadership and service in both the church as well as in the world.
The University of Valley Forge offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in subjects like business, digital media, and music technology. Several undergraduate and graduate degrees and bachelor's degree completion programs are avaiable fully online.
