Program Details

The University of the Potomac offers an online MBA with a concentration in Hospitality & Tourism for students interested in pursuing higher educations within this field.  The curriculum includes traditional MBA courses and courses that focus on Hospitality and Tourism Management.  The MBA program fulfills the same requirements and rigor as the on-campus program but in a format that is more flexible for students working and with family obligations.  You will learn knowledge and skills in accounting, finance, management, marketing, and operations, preparing you for management positions in business organizations, non-governmental organizations, and international entities. 

In addition, students complete courses in Hospitality and Tourism Management that include:

  • Hospitality and Tourism Management
  • Marketing and Advertising in Hospitality and Tourism
  • Financial Management and Planning in Hospitality and Tourism
  • Applications of Technology in Hospitality and Tourism

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Official trancripts
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Essay
  • GRE/GMAT test scores not required, but highly recommended for students who do not have a business degree or prerequisites
