University of South Florida – Main Campus offers an online Graduate Certificate program in Autism Spectrum Disorder. Students of this program will understand the field of autism on a whole different level, and learn effective techniques for teaching and working with those on the spectrum. The coursework teaches on the use of assistive technology and positive behavior support mostly.
- Must hold an earned bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- A minimum 3.0 GPA
- Have approximately 30 credit hours of coursework in education or a related field (speech-language pathology, physical therapy, occupational therapy that deals with students with severe/profound disabilities)
- Preference will be given to professional practitioners who have minimum one-year experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
