Program Details

The online Bachelor of General Studies is a liberal arts degree for students interested in completing a baccalaureate degree that matches their interests and career goals.  This liberal arts degree is extremely flexible, promoting free and creative thought and critical analysis while also providing a firm foundation in the liberal arts.  Students will design their own course of study that meets diverse professional and academic interests or goals, completing a curriculum that is useful to them rather than a standard, one-size-fits-all program.  Rather than choosing a major, you will select an area of concentration by selecting upper-level coursework from any department and even blending courses from different departments. 

The program still provides a well-rounded education with courses required in such areas as:
