The Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree is an online psychiatric nursing program.  As more people seek psychiatric care and many psychiatrists reach retirement age, there is a growing need for nurse practitioners to fill this specialty.  With this degree, you will advance your career while preparing to provide psychiatric care to patients of all ages, genders, and cultures.  Graduates are prepared to work in such settings as:
