University of Providence offers the Bachelor of Science in Psychology, the study of people and human behavior. Students can expect to study all areas of psychology, such as Behavioral Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Physiological Psychology, Social Psychology, and Sports Psychology. Students will be prepared for positions in the mental health, welfare, legal, and corrections fields, and for entrance into graduate programs in psychology, counseling, law, business administration, and the health care fields.
Students may be required to attend weekend sessions on campus to fulfill degree requirements.
