Program Details

This bachelor’s in Sociology online is designed for students who have existing college credits or an associate’s degree. Communication, critical analysis, writing, and research skills learned in this major can be transferred to a wide range of professions and industries.

Students will learn how to apply social context and cultural issues to problem solving for groups, organizations, and societies. Courses examine how to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data in research. Graduates will be prepared for positions in market analysis, policy development, human resources, politics, journalism, law, education, social work, counseling, and much more. 

Four concentrations are available to students within the online Sociology degree program:
